During the Year
Donations by check or charge are a popular way to give. Click
here to make an on-line contribution at our secure site or, if donating by mail,
please make check payable to Children's Home of Detroit, 900 Cook Road,

Corporate
Matching Gifts
DOUBLE your
gift! Children's Home of Detroit is a qualified 501 (c) (3) non-profit
organization that meets IRS criteria to receive matching gifts. Check
with your employer or, if applicable, your spouse's employer/ administrator
to see if your company matches employee's gifts. A matching gift form
needs to be completed.
Gifts of Appreciated
Stock
Gifts of Appreciated Stocks are an excellent way for individuals to make
a donation without having to pay capital gains tax on the appreciation.
The stock must be donated directly to CHD, not to the donor and then CHD.
Children's Home of Detroit will work with the donor's financial institution
so that the gift is properly received and then credited to the donor.
Planned Giving / Legacy4Kids
Membership in the Legacy4Kids Society signals special generosity and
a nonbinding pledge to make CHD a beneficiary of your estate. Please

On Your Birthday, Gift a Child
On Your Birthday helps you give a gift to a child with whom you share a
personal connection, such as the same birth date, the same first name, or
who is being assisted by a charity that has special significance in your
life. CHD is a proud sponsor of this program. For

Send a Child to Camp this Summer
From April 28 to August 1, 2008 your donation will be eligible for a
match from The Skillman Foundation until the matching funds are depleted.
Please send your contribution in now so that your gift will be matched
and all the kids at CHD can enjoy camp. For more information
