Trowbridge Assessment and Counseling Center
Located on the campus of Children’s
Home of Detroit, Trowbridge Assessment and Counseling Center can help
children, adolescents, adults and families deal with issues such as
worry, depression, anxiety, every day stress, sudden or anticipated
loss, family/parent/child difficulties or school-related
problems. Trowbridge provides specialized services including trauma
assessment, psychological and psychiatric assessments and medical evaluations. Click

The National Institute for Trauma and Loss
in Children
CHD's National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children (TLC) is
the only program of its kind in the country that trains school and agency
professionals who work with children, youth and families traumatized
by violent or non-violent incidents. Its certification programs, conferences,
books and videotapes instruct thousands of professionals every year in
the use of TLC's trauma-specific interventions. Click
